GLASS MUSEUM
Under a spotlight
our viral nemesis
made art, sparkles
in a clear case.
Surface glycoproteins
bead like pearls
on a body,
the crushed ice
of transmembrane
makes me thirsty.
A ribbed core
excites desire,
makes me want
to stretch what lines you.
Unable to touch
the sealed off jewel,
we place our hands
on the glass.
